artistRYOHEI YAMASHITAHe has consistently sought to find the pinnacle of beauty in the moments of human movement, and has pioneered a unique genre as an artist. All kinds of bodily movements, like cutting wind and making water dance, are fixed on the canvas through bold compositions and brush strokes that make full use of his own body. In addition, it continues to evolve, seeking themes from various moments that unfold from dynamic beauty, such as transposing the imagination of the contestants into landscapes and choosing the sentiments of the four seasons as the subject matter.

  • What is the difference between prints and posters? Also, which one is more valuable?
There is essentially no difference between prints and posters, as both are reproductions printed on a printer, but prints are limited in number and the print quality and paper are of higher quality than posters. In terms of value, prints have more artistic added value.
  • I would like to purchase an art book, but I don't have much knowledge about it and don't know the differences in the specifications. Which specification is better?
Premium hard printing is the most beautiful and recommended.
  • I'm thinking about purchasing a print. Can I just buy that and hang it in my office? Is there any other equipment I should purchase?
Since the product is a delicate print, we recommend placing it in a poster frame that corresponds to the size you purchased. https://www.amazon.co.jp/frame-fit-frame-420X594mm-black-0020169327/dp/B000ULGD8M/ref=sr_1_8?crid=3CQQ1JZ134DKY&keywords=posterframe+a2&qid=1653198715&sprefix=posterframe%2Caps%2C184&sr=8-8 I think you can get a finished product closer to your imagination if you ask for framing at the picture frame counter of Sekaido or Tokyu Hands.
  • I'd like to know more about the artists I work with.
Please see artist Ryohei Yamashita's official website for detailed information about his activities. https://www.illustmaster.com
  • What payment methods are available?
Credit/debit card, PayPal, smartphone payment, convenience store payment, Pay-easy, bank transfer, carrier payment, Rakuten Pay, auPAY, deferred payment (Payday) You can use.
  • Do you have any tips for choosing a painting?
It is said that when people look at a painting, they see themselves in it. In other words, think of the painting you are looking at as an idealized mirror of yourself. Have you ever been moved or felt excited when looking at a painting for no apparent reason? This is the mysterious sensation that this is the painting you have been searching for all these years. Why not prioritize these feelings when choosing a painting?
  • I have some prints that are not available as canvas prints. Can I request to have them made into products?
We can accommodate requests for works that meet the copyright and aspect ratio requirements. Please contact us.
  • Which is easier to display: a woodblock print or a canvas print?
Canvas prints are easier to display. Canvas prints are made by stretching the canvas on a wooden frame, so you don't need to frame it; you can simply take it out of the box and stand it up or hang it on a hook or thumb tack.
  • When it comes to "quality," how much does "Giclee" differ from the original? Please tell me about the physical value, such as "difference in appearance" and "durability."
The difference between the original and the giclee, speaking only of Yamashita's works, is that the original is rated 10 points in terms of color development, while the giclee is rated 7 points. (The difference between the color development of the paint itself and the color development of the printer ink is obvious.) The texture is 10 points for the original paintings and 4 points for the giclee paintings. (The characteristic of Yamashita's original paintings is the rich texture expressed by the raised paint, so there is a limit to how much can be reproduced with giclee.) In terms of durability, originals are about 10 points and giclee is about 5 points. (Originals are based on fabric or panels, while giclee is based on paper, so in terms of durability against moisture and force, originals are superior.)
